Private Lessons
With my current work, family and performing schedules I am not able to teach as much as I would like but I do teach individually scheduled one or two hour private lessons. I do not teach weekly lessons although I can recommend some excellent teachers that do. I schedule lessons on week nights after 8:30 so I am generally not able to teach young children.
I have extensive teaching experience and have developed some very effective techniques for advancing your knowledge and skills. The basic approach is this: We study a particular topic, either a technique, theoretical concept, playing style or whatever and then we thoroughly explore that idea by studying music that employs the material from the lesson.
